Submersion separates the language you study, the language of explanations, and the language of its controls.
Dictionary coverage varies
Semantide supplies Japanese, Chinese, French and English dictionary lookups. Other supported Study languages use translation fallback. Japanese is the default Study language; Gloss follows a supported browser locale, otherwise English. Readings, pronunciation and dictionary coverage vary by language.
Content and controls
The interface is available in English, Japanese, Spanish and French. Study and Gloss offer a broader language selection, listed on Support. Netflix and YouTube require available subtitle tracks; webpages and Reader work with supported text independently of those platforms. Japanese pitch-accent tools are Japanese only.
