Questions about Submersion
Compatibility, saved reading, guest reviews and optional accounts: what to expect before installing.
Can I use it without an account?
Yes. Core watching, webpage immersion, local reading documents and guest review work without an account. Guest review history remains local and never transfers to Fluidity. Signed-in review is currently unavailable in production pending the required permissions; signing in does not start a second local schedule.
What content works, and what leaves my device?
Netflix and YouTube use available caption tracks. Local videos and supported HTML5 players accept readable tracks or SRT/VTT files; Reader also imports unprotected EPUB text. Restricted pages and DRM-protected sources are excluded. Documents and source context stay local; lookups send the requested word or sentence. See Privacy and Support for details.
